In my personal opinion, you're better off with buying an import. Especially if you are young and you are worried about what people think. If you go out and you're rolling some POS 'Stang that you've sorta "souped up" in your opinion, then you are going to be in for a lot of laughs and people "challenging" you just to make more fun of you.

what was the ford car model that the taurus replaced ?

Oh, head gaskets, yeah, to fix that.... you're better off buying another car. It's going to be in the thousands.

It will get around 6 miles per liter on the highway, about 4-4.5 in the city, if I'm doing my math right.

I need a HONDA tech's help! Please read and tell me is this is possible.?

Parts are not expensive...in the US at least. Mustangs are very common cars in the US, and use engines and transmissions related to those in some other very common cars.

97 grand am passive lock light keeps blinking and car won't start, replaced starter?

Replacing the head gasket will cost quite a lot. Could be up to 1500 USD. Definitely in the high hundreds, at least.

Gas conversion for Jeep Grand Cherokee, engine light keeps comming off!!?

Skip it, dude. Unless the car is utterly flawless otherwise (and it isn't), that is WAAAY too many miles for a Mustang.

Looking to buy a 2003 volvo v70 any suggestions? Is it expensive to maintain? Feedback on performance please

Ignore idiotic Ford bashers who get passed by them all the time. It is a very good car, but you could probably find one with few miles. I have owned 2 of them. Very reliable car and there are plenty of aftermarket parts to make them go faster and for maintenance. Run the VIN to be sure it hasn't been in a wreck or anything else bad. Run 5W-30 Valvoline MaxLife in it (or the synthetic MaxLife if the car has been using synthetic oil). Be sure it has good tires on it that are speed rated to at least 150 MPH. Be sure the airbag works. Make sure all the sensors are in good shape. Sensors are the biggest problem with Fords. The 5.0L engine is very good. If you keep your foot out of it and drive sensibly, you can get 23 MPG easily. That is about 325 miles out of a tank. 1995 was the last year of the 5.0L in Mustang GTs officially though you could still get it in them until about 1998 on special order.

Koenigsegg Cars?

Pro. It's not some Jap piece of junk. Con . It's a Ford . There is a lot of Muskrats out there. Find one in better shape. Better yet get a Camaro or Firebird.

my Buick will start and then shut off it won,t stay started and I here a clicking sound when car is running ca

I do beilieve that this was the second year for the 4.6L instead of the 5L. The 4.6L is a very strong and powerful engine and will run for a very long time. If it is the V6 however, I would stay away from it. I have a friend with a 1993 Crown Victoria with the 4.6L and he has a smidge over 307 000km on it, and it still runs good. I've seen the 4.6L push out 700 000km before. I was looking to buy one, but in my area they are all snatched up pretty fast. I'm looking to buy one that is (either the fox body (1979-1993 i do believe) with the 5L or one a newer one (1994 - now) with the 4.6L) a write off, and has sever rear end damage and take the transmission and engine for a project of mine (Mustanger, Mustang powered Ranger). If I found a Mustang before my Ranger I would have bought it. Its a classic car, you can't go wrong.

what does 3.ol v6 fFI DOHC 24V means, this is a engine for a 1992 nissan maxima SE. Thanks?

I work in a garage, and have worked on a few of these, and these cars share a lot of common parts making repair costs cheaper, and for the amount of them I see on the road here, I get very few to the shop. Maybe one or tow every 6 months.

I cannot decide between the 07 jetta or the scion tc.. se both photos the scion is the 1st car the jetta in 2n

Don't listen to anyone that disses Ford. I come from a Ford Family (and yet I'm a Mopar lover) and there have been very few problems with them over the years. I'm guessing most of you people who diss Ford have either never owned on and are using a biased opinion, or you owned one in your live and it turned into a lemon, and chances are it was a small 4 banger, which I'll admit, they were junk.

I have a 94 Legend GS which I rolled 3 times and a 94 LS which I would love to put the type II engine in.?

EDIT - Thank you mrty for bringing that to my attention, I thought that the Mustang stated using the 4.6L after one year of use. Then again, I'm not to big into buying one to dive, i'm into buying one to scrap, now.
And just remember, Ford stands for First On Race Day!

How can I know my car's model ?

wow! most of you people make me laugh with your idiotic answers most of you have no idea what your saying...the 94 and 95 gt were the new sn-95 body and had the 5.0l engine in it, the 96 gt was the first year with the 4.6 L engine the 96 gt and 97 gt were dogs rated at 215bhp 98 gts had a little more hp and 99-04 gts had a under-rated 260bhp...
if you were only looking to get a mustang gt around a 95 i would get a clean 94 or 95 only get the 1996 or 97 if they are the cobras with the 4.6 L dohc 4v motor...
PRO'S------- first dont get that car you are talking about find a nicer mustang with lower mileage and no huge problems....mustangs are the best bang for the buck car out there, dont listen to these import ricers... to replace and fix things on the stangs are very cheap, and to mod them and make them handle better and add more horsepower and torque are very easy, 240 bhp in the mustang is nothing huge but it is pushing almost 300 ft/lbs of torque to the flywheel.....torque is something most imports dont know anything about cause most dont even have 160 ft/ibs unless they some new cars coming out or are high performance imports such as evo's or sti's those are nice imports but stupid ricer integras and honda's have no power and are slow...anyways cons is they are semi-fast stock and can be made to go faster and handle better easy whether you want to add some bolt ons or add a supercharger like a kenne bell which this alone will OWN most of the cars on the stret
CONS---- the older year mustang you try to get the harder it will be to find a nice clean stang, other than that cant think of any i love my stangs

I don't know how to drive a manual transmission car.?

I agree that most of the posts here have shown a severe lack of intelligence or bias with a hint of jealousy. The car you are looking at is a 5.0 car. There are MANY pros to this car as the aftermarket is VERY strong. The cons for the one you have listed is the mileage and, as the previous poster suggested, the year makes it hard to find a clean car. As for the blown head gasket, they are easy to change if you want to do the job yourself and it will be cheap. If not, it will not cost you an outrageous 1500 to get the job done.... well unless you are using the opportunity to replace the heads with, say, a pair of AFR 185 or edelbrock performer heads.... Then it will be slightly more.
