Is it possible for me to fit a 2006 type s front and back bumper to my 2002 type s. would it be easy as all the same screws go through the same holes and ect.?

The problem with doing this is even if you could just switch out the bumpers and make it look like a 2006, to do it properly is going to cost a fair bit of money. Probably well over $1,000.

If you do it on the cheap it will look crap, if you do it right it will cost too much. Then once you are done you will have a modified car. Modified cars scare people when they come to buy them. They know it is a 2002 model, but with bits ripped off and replaced with other bits. People worry that the work was not done properly, and that worry translates to a loss of residual value.
