Is there a web site where I can see how rims look on my gmc yukon?
My chiltons manual states to look at the valve cover tag.Start at 10* btc
A ford usually will start right back up after you turn the key off , with out having to touch anything if its set right.
So set your timing at 10* , take it for a spin and listen for any octane pings under exceleration. If no pings are there then kill the motor wait two seconds and see if it will start up with out having to crank for a long time or touch the gas.
If your having a hard start , try retarding the timing 2 more degrees at a time until it starts smooth.

Nissan 240sx 95' what engine should i buy?
8 to 10 degrees btd would be OK but if you have an advance timing light you can fine tune the timing to get the most performance out of your engine i would start with about 32 degrees total timing but i would try not to go more than 38 degrees the more timing you have the more bottom end horsepower you will have but if you set the timing to high it will burn a hole in the piston sometimes this is called detonationMore Questions & Answers ...
