i have s430 and i'm looking for the oval plastic housing for european license plate on the trunk/deck lid. my friend went to germany but in order to get that housing would take 3 weeks. he was there for 2 weeks. he didn't have enough time. i went to the dealer here in USA, but they don't have the part ID# so they can order it. so, can some one help me where i can get that?! ebay doesn't have it either. once again, it is on the trunk lid where the license plate bolts on. European license plate will not fit on it because it is made for american license plate. the squared once.if my description was not enough i can send the picture of what i need.

This place is Mercedes-Benz, not someone using their name. They opened this shop a year ago to assist MB classic car owners in the US, full restorations, parts, you name it they can do it...pretty cool place
