Question:
My 97 3.8 liter GP has developed a serious collant leak from a rather odd location. I added coolant directly to the radiator as it was quite low. After starting the engine, a stream about the size of a pencil was observed above the water pump. The brownish area in the following pictures link is where the stream is seen:

type of oil to put in a 99 ford expedition?
This is a close up of the area. The red arrow points to where the stream is coming from(the stream is actually coming from under the black bracket).

Can anyine tell me where I can get the value of a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1?
There is an odd plastic tube with a sharp 90 degree bend just below the leak. It apears to go from behind the sepentine tensionor bracket to the engine block or perhaps intake manifold.

how to reconnect a rattler car alarm?
the leak is most likely coming from that elbow it feeds coolant into the intakeit is not an overflow it can be replaced seperately but you do have 2 take off the aluminum bracket that it goes into it is a fairly comon failurethe brownish area is burnt on motor oil............leaking from the valve/cam cover......no apparent coolant leak,s are evident in your photo,s..........not even residue......check near by hoses for leak,s........the tube your referring to is your thermostat by pass tube......if it is ruptured......you will have to replace it!...........a cooling system pressure test will define better where your leak is originating from!
there is a plastic fitting that breaks constantly on these cars. center, top of the intake manifold.
