The "A" plan is available to Ford employees and their extended families. It is around 15% to 20% depending on the vehicle. The plan is a set price with no haggling. There is a percentage and I think it is somewhere like 3 or 4% below invoice. The plan that your uncle would ude is called the D-plan. I just recently worked for a ford dealership. Its a real good plan because you get to buy below invoice and still get any and all the rebates that would apply on top of the D-plan. A-plan is for actual ford employees that work at the plants. Basically D is for dealership. Hope this helps.The discount is supposed to be 4% above dealer cost. You can also take from the price any other discounts or specials that Ford is offering. Also, Ford requires the dealer to show you the invoice at your request so you can judge whether or not you really did get it at 4% above cost.
