Depends on your rear axle ratio and which transmission. These vans are pretty heavy. Assuming it has the low rear and an automatic with overdrive, probably no more than 17mpg. A lot of people claim higher mileage, but it has been my experiance with these engines and transmissions that they will get no more than 19 mpg. these v8's just dont get really good fuel economy, but diesels always get more economy than gasoline engines, as well as high mileage life.
