I wanted to know if i could turbocharge a 2003 Sentra GXE and if so how well does the turbo work?
It depends on your price range. For the money, I don't believe there is a better product made than Honda. Nissan is of quality but Honda will last longer and out perform them. On the higher end you won't do better than Mercedes Benz.Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini or Maserati?
you should look at any of the newer four cylinder cars all of the manufacturers are using the same technology these days to put out a great product it just depends on your budget and if you like the styling of the car and the way it rides and drivescorolla and civics are great cars

1997 DODGE RAM 1500 transmission jerking?
The best design of a 4 cylinder engine in my opinion is the classic Italian Lampredi dual overhead cam, developed by Ferrari engineer Aurelio Lampredi. But then I may be prejudice.Look at the car I own (a 1975 Lancia) .Anyway this is an engine design that has been studied, copied, etc.by almost every auto manufactuer to help develop many of the best engines in use today. It is the grandfather of ALL the best four bangers on the planet. What is your problem with Mikey? Give toyota a chance, you will all be sorry for what you say.?
If you own a Nissan Sentra be sure to change the timing belt as required. If it breaks while running especially on the highway at speed you can expect a high repair bill.. I speak from experience here. While most of the 4 Cy will do this look for a engine which is non-integrated (Valve timing)or wont eat itself if the belt breaks.
The best car now for value and dependability is the Hyundai. I have been a mechanic for 31 years and I was hesitant until I bought my first Elantra and it was trouble free for 200k and I bought a 1993 Elantra for my daughter when she was a university student and it was well used when purchased but she drove it for over 235K and sold it and bought a Cavallier which she had for a year and returned to hyundai because of the issues she had with the Chevy. now I own a 2006Sonata. There is not many cars with better gas milage and lots of pep for a 4 cylinder. The old Hyundais (poney ans Stellar)had a lot of issues<engines not being one> but Hyundai used their profit to build a better car and I would guess in another few years the price will be high like Honda and Toyota.
What would be a good 6 cylinder GM highway car that would give pretty good mileage (98 to present).?
The pre-2007 Jeep Wrangler. It had a four cylinder version as well as a six cylinder version. How many miles per gallon should a rover 114si get?
Best 4 cylinders for the buck would be a nissan/toyota. The Japan enginers are just awesome. But look out if something does happens to these cars then it gets pricy. Part are just outrageous. Plus finding a tech to work on them is hard. But they rarely breakdown. Good luck.porshe
