look up the exact model car you want on consumer guide .com. it tells you of any recalls or "trouble spots". it also gives you an idea of how much repairs are going to cost for certain things. for example when I bought my Millenia i looked it up and it mentioned the only known trouble spot or complaint was that the transmission shifts a little hard and true enough it does.
