i have a 2003 toyota tacoma and i would never drive anything else - i have never ever had any mechanical problem with it . i have had it since it was brand new - i have put over 80,000 miles on it since dec 2003 and it still runs like a dream - just keep up on the oil changes and you should be fine - i think that the warranty could have been a little better, but i never needed this truck fixed ever!! and i have actually looked @ the 2005 and i actaully almost bought it , but i couldnt part with my baby - the 4x4 gets you out of the worst of the situations and it will handle well in the winter - pricing being around for a xtended cab prerunner is aroud 22,000 msrp
