Question:
Hey all. I'm looking into buying a vauxhall astra mark four at some point and i'd like to get some feedback on them. Ideally i'm looking for a coupe model. although feed back on all models is appreciated.

How are they to drive in general?
How are the electrics in them?
What model would you recommend personally?
What bodykits would you recommend for them(nothing too tacky lol)?

How good is the Infiniti G35? Do you recommend it?
Hi i have owned an Astra Coupe 1.8 16v for 2 years and now i own the same car but a 2 litre turbo 16v.The engine options for this model are as follows :-
1.6 16v (105 bhp)
1.8 16v (125 bhp)
2.0 turbo (16v 200 bhp)
2.2 16v (147 bhp)
Now with the Astra mark 5 available you will pick up the mark 4 coupe for a very good price.
My experience with the 1.8 is that it was a very good runner with very few problems. the only problem being was the water pump started to go which can be a common problem on the mark 4. The engine and gearbox is solid and i was getting 35 mpg return. the 1.8 engine is responsive and fast and will put a smile on your face.I now own the turbo model and it is a very fast car indeed but you only get around 28mpg but it has lots of extras.
Make sure if you do buy one of these cars that it has a good service history and if it has not had a cam belt change before 40000miles then you MUST get one done. OK hope that helps a bit.anymore questions just email me.
new Volkswagen vs. old Volkswagen?
Generally quite good all round, body works prone to a bit of rust, if you get one with electric windows make sure they work, replacements are over £100 eachI need to do a report, could you help me find information on this subject?
An astra with a bodykit is tacky unless it's a copy of the gsi/gte kit, They drive better than anything french and are pretty reliable unless thrashed. I wouldn't go for anything less than the 1.8 16v motor.More Questions & Answers ...
