I just bought a 1995 Chevy Silverado Z71 4x4. It has a 4.3 L v6 in it. I know the Z71 is a suspension package, but I thought the z71 4x4 trucks had either a 305ci or 350ci engine. Is this the correct motor for this truck or did someone add the z71 stickers?

Most likely the Z71 stickers were added. I am sure they never made a v-6 z71. z71 was an off road package consisting of skid plates if no skid plates no z71 if it has them then look at the rearend assy all z71 models had a 14 bolt rear cover, I am betting yours will be a 10 bolt. Some brake and suspension pieces also differ(heavier duty). I think you are right on though you have a regular pickup not a z71.does the 2007 honda odyssey sell in australia?
call a dealer and give them the serial number of it and have them run it,they can tell you if its a z-71 or not,i never heard of one having a v-6 in it,but anythings possible, someone might might have ordered it that way who knows with today's vehicles, good luck i hope this help,s.it could be possible for your truck to be a Z-71 AND be the mighty v-6... this option was later removed though i believe.. but yes it CAN BE A Z with the 4.3
what is the sign of Ferrari team?
I have seen many z71 4x4 chevys with the v-6 so yes, you have the correct engineWouldn't you expect a 4x4 truck to have posi-traction or something?
