98 mazda 626 and when I hook up the scan tool it says high input from the Idle air temp. sensor??

I have an aftermarket intake on it, I changed the sensor bout 10 months ago. I dunno if it could be the wiring or something? Could that make my car jump when I start it up and put it into drive??

look for any broken wires esp. right by the sensor connector.
the jumping when putting into drive could possibly be a broken motor mount, esp. the for & aft mounts (firewall area & radiator area)
