Raul H ,YES YOU CAN!! Downshifting is recommended to help slow a car down along with braking and is also recommended by the manufacturer (look in your owners manual) In fact to help with the braking you can keep downshifting all the way to 2nd gear. You have the 700r4 tranny in your Camaro and is very durable. Have been downshifting automatics and manual trannys for years. In the last 17 yrs I have owned 3 cars and all of them except for my present car had over 250,000 mi on them and no tranny problems from downshiftingSure, but why would you? The engine revs will go up and the gas mileage will drop.
Hi I live In Ontario Canada and I was wondering are kids aloud to drive mini quads on a street?
yes BUT Y ? all it is is a "passing gear". thats allyes you can do it,but you wont gain anything from it,you,ll loose gas mileage and slow the car down also and this really isn't good for the transmission be sifted down at that speed, but yes go ahead ,its your car ,good luck.
