If you under take this project, be sure to take the wiring harness and computers from the donor car as well as the mechanical accoutrements. Manual and automatic cars have different sensors and computer programming.

The box will generally fit but the drive shafts may be different. You will also need a flywheel from a manual car.
A problem my mate hit when he put a manual inti an automatic car was the engine was tuned (ECU etc) to provide maximum torque for the auto box. It meant his wheels when spinning by just touching the throttle in the wet in EVERY gear.
