Question:
Jeep stalls? 1998 grand cherokee 4.0 engine
Jeep runs fine most of the time but every once in a while it will just die.Let it sit for 20-30 seconds and it will start up an run fine. Ithought it might be water in the fuel so I put in fuel dry stuff. Hasn't seem to make any difference. Changed the magnetic pick-up in the distributor, the crankshaft sensor, and the ignition coil at the Jeep dealer for the tune of $533.00 and nothing helped. Any suggestions?

Well i bought a used 1995 chevy cavalier and i was wondering if eanybody knew where to download one?
It Almost sounds Electrical (like a Break in the fuel pump Electrical feed wire)However The Pumps start to act funny after 250 000 Kms(160 000Miles)Especially If you got a batch of dirty Fuel.
I'd Think of Pressure Testing the fuel system And if its weak but OK to the mech.
Change The Pump, Filter Screen and the filter(you'll need lockring and gasket too.
If the Pressure is Real strong Look at the wiring for bad spots(Cracked or Corroded real bad Along the wires and at the connections)
Or Blowing out the fuel lines, While the are disconnected With Air.
They might have a small blockage that starves the engine Until the pressure is released (Stalls) Then it might move back enough to allow it to start again.
