Question:
It just blows barly warm air, both hoses going to core seem hot. It apears like the thermostat is working as I can watch my temp. gauge rise and lower from about 200 to 180 degress. I don't know the history of this jeep, and I can't see in the radiateor cause it does not have a cap on this model. Should I asume the core is pluged or look elsewhere? If it is pluged is thre a way to clean it with out replacing it. Thanks in advance, stuby3.

BUD IM NOT POSITIVE BUT IS YOUR FILL TUBE ON THE PAS... SIDE IF IT IS I HAD THIS PROBLEM ON MY BUDDYS 89 I WOULD DRAIN THE RAD THE PLUG SHOULD BE ON THE BOTTOM EATHER DRIVER OR PASSINGER SIDE. DRAIN IT AND LEAVE THE PLUG OUT AND WHEN IT DRAINS ALL THE WAY STICK YOUR GARDEN HOSE IN THE FILL TUBE TURN THE HOSE ON AND LET SOME WATER IN THE RAD WITH THE PLUG OUT THEN PUT THE PLUG BACK IN AND TAKE THE TOP RAD HOSE OFF AND FILL THE RAD UP TILL WATER COMES OUT AND START IT UP LET IT RUN WITH THE WATER HOSE ON FOR ABOUT 10 MIN FLUSHING EVERY THING OUT. IF THERE IS ONLEY A LITTLE BIT OF WATER COMEING OUT. SHUT IT OFF & TURN THE WATER OFF & TAKE YOUR THERMASTAT OUT AND PLACE THE THERMASTAT HOUSEING BACK ON AND TRY AGEAN FOR ABOUT 10 MIN FLUSH IT AND THEN PUT YOUR HOSE BACK ON DRAIN THE WATER OUT POUT YOUR PLUG BACK IN ADD ANTIFREEZ AND A NEW THERMASTAT TRY THAT.IF THAT DONT WORK TRY A NEW BLOWER MOTOR OR NEW HEATER COREhow do you fit starter motor on a ford escort year1995-2001?
