Whats the difference between a 95'-99' S-Class coupe and a 95'-99' CL-Class coupe?
You did not give a location so I can only give you a general answer. Most areas have salvage yards locally. If you are mechanically inclined you can remove the parts yourself. Many people are not able to work with the compacted and computerized engines in today's vehicles. If you are one of these, then for a small fee most salvage yards will remove the parts for you. You can then take the parts to your favorite mechanic (not a dealership) and he will usually install your part for a fee that should be for labor only.Lastly, if you are mechanically inclined and plan to do the work yourself, it is almost always in your best interest to remove the parts yourself at the salvage yard. That will allow you to see the dissemble at least twice before you put it on your vehicle. A service manual wouldn't hurt either (Chilton is my personal preference.
