How much can the VW Turbo Beetle tow?
i own a repair shop, and from what i seen it looks like a bad ground on it,these trucks were good for that, and that is a real nice truck, but i think all that's wrong with it is a ground wire bad,try grounding it with a piece of wire to a good piece of metal, and see if that improves it,it should help it,good luck, hope this help,s.Does anyone know ehere I can get the Bosch wiperblades that are on the new VW Rabbit on the web??
Bad ground wire to the body of the truck from lights wiring.Oh, by the way, nice truck.
Very nice truck. The light on the driver side is obviously dim. The question is why?
Get your volt meter out. Are you getting the full voltage to the light? If not, look for whatever is dropping it down. Sometimes the easiest thing to do in that case is to replace the wire instead of hunt for the drop. If you are getting full voltage (which I suspect is the case) then you have a bad ground on the socket. Clean up the rust and make sure it's mounted firmly. For a quick check, just run a jumper wire from the outside shell of the socket to a good known ground and watch it brighten up for you. Keep tightening things until you have a good ground.
