I just bought a 1991 Chevy K1500. The 350 cranks easy and it's getting gas but it won't start.?

Question:
I know it's getting gas. The distributor cap is new, I had the distibutor control module tested, I know the coil is putting out spark, and I pulled a plug and laid it on the exhaust manifold to check for spark, but there's nothing. I'm thinking the wire that goes from the coil to the cap is bad, or the cap isn't making contact with the rotor. Any other ideas?
