ok i had this happen in 1999 zx2 - the taillights / dash cluster / and licence plate lights are all on the same fuse - in my case no fuses were blown - it was two bare wires grounding out on the license plate bulb lead in. check your wires along all of these areas and look for a stripped wire or burnt wire. What tilt steering column will fit a 1968 Ford F-100 4x4?

i had the same problem with my probe.Theres 3 causes of this.
#1. shorted ground. If you have any positive wires touching the ground you will short it out. So if youve replaced anything such as the radio, check the wiring.
#2. the dimmer switch. The way to check this, is just to pop off the switch from the dash, and remove the wiring harness. If you get lights, then you know thats the problem.
#3, on my probe, the main swtich went out. Its a pain in the *** to replace. YOu have to take apart everything. I didnt realize it at the time, but you do not need to remove the steering wheel.
So if anyone tells you that you do, you dont.
