RHD conversion on a 97 240sx?

Question:
has anyone else tried doing a RHD conversion on a 240sx any year? i was just wondering because you dont see much JDM Silvias in US any maybe someone decided to just make their own. idk i saw a guy with a 97-98 240sx but inside its a rhd and the dash is from an s15. anyone know how?

rhd conversion would be way more trouble than its worth. youd have to reposition everything thats in the way of the steering column, and probably have to do a fair bit of cutting welding and patching your firewall. this is the reason that the Skyline was never imported (the relocated steering column would punch a hole right through the turbo. nissan didnt want to deal with new production costs so left it only for rhd markets). you probably saw an imported s14 that was factory rhd. many of the parts swap over (or with light modification) from the s15, including the dash. it would be very cool, but i dont think its worth the time or money.
