Did the old citroen suspension remind you of a dog squatting down?
Yes! I love my Sonata!any tricks to installing a gas tank on a 1974 bug?
Hyundai's are pretty reliable cars, and also efficient. 60,000 miles sounds like a lot, but could possibly last to more than 200,000 miles without having a major problem (unless it was in an accident). If it is for a reasonable price, then I would say you should get it.buy a chevy
I wouln't buy a Hyundai - ever. Better to take the bus.
It really depends. They are reliable, as with most foreign cars, reasonably priced, and good riding. The problem is their depreciation value. Right now you could probably get a 99 sonata for under 2000 bucks. This is only good if you are willing to send it to the scrapper when you are done with it. After a few owners, you could probably get more from a junkyard for it than from a buyer. Its just how it works, so I suggest stay away from them and get something that holds their value. GOOD LUCK!!
1997 Ford Taurus repair question?
I have owned 2 Hyundais (03 Elantra and 03 Sonata) and they were both deplorable crap. Do not buy that Sonata!!tune up on 95 oldsmobile silhouette?
It all depends how well maintained the car was- oil changes, etc. If so the sonata is very reliable. any car, including honda can be a problem if the proper maintenance is not done. The hyundais we owned have been excellant, reliable cars. If you do not plan to sell why worry about the later on value of it- just enjoy it.the chevy we owned was nothing but problems-but i know of people that had good luck with them.can I go with no cat. converters?
We own an '04 Sante Fe. 80k miles and no trips to the dealer other than normal service. My Ford has cost me 12k this year in repairs. No kidding $12,000. Which do you think I will buy next time?what does 3.ol v6 fFI DOHC 24V means, this is a engine for a 1992 nissan maxima SE. Thanks?
Hyundai's realiability is average. Acura's can go over 300,000 miles. 60,000 miles on a Hyundai is pretty reliable.on a 2001 audi a4 what do the 2 buttons on the drivers door do? NOT elec windows or mirrors?
Do yourself a favor an go for a Hyundai without so many miles on it. Problem is with hyundai's...owners get them for cheap and don't keep up the maintenance, that accounts for the low resale value. You can get a brand new Elantra for cheap and it's a great car!i was wondering if anyone knew any cheap mods for an 89 camaro with the 2.8 in it?
and never mind what other posters say about their reliability. Car magazines love Hyundai's because they kick American autos in the @ss in just about every category.
where to find electrical diagram for ford pickup truck?
Go with Hyundai and get a great warranty...or buy a chevy and watch as your car breaks down at 36001 miles and it's NOT covered under warranty anymore.
does anyone know where i can find the air intake sensor plug on my 92 renault 19?
THEY ARE VERY GOOD CARS! In response to the answer about the JD Power in Inital Quality. Refer to the 2006 survery. Hyundai ranked 3rd in Inital quality behind Lexus and Porche! Everyone of their cars are within the top 3 in inital quality in their segment. and the company redid their entire lineup within the past 2 years. What are some old school cars, like the shelby GT500.?
Please ignore ETHOL's post about hyundai's and nearly anything else being better than a kia.Hyundai's ARE kia's. look it up.
VW Cabrio Power Top Not Working?
I have a 2001 Elantra, have put 30000 miles on it in 1 year. Absolutely no problems outside of normal consumables (brakes, tires, wipers) I'll buy another, no problem.
