Without changing the crank and bore size it's not going to be easy.Your going to have to change the cam and heads.Putting on a blower will help too.Porting and polishing helps a little. Then a good set of headers so it''l breathe better. To be sure you really need to go to a local shop that does engines. They'll be able to give you exact specs.

seriously without changing bore or stroke you can try to port and polish intake, heads and exhaust. going with lighweight pistons and a cam, grinding the valves, changing heads, using a stuffed crank, blueprinting
adding a turbo, adding a blower, any combination of these would likely get you there.

what date did ford come out with the model "T"?

Well, stock bore and stroke is different from stock motor. A seriously built 302 can make 350HP, but I would not recommend it on stock internals. I am going to send you to a site that specializes in SBF buildups and info. sbftech.com These guys really know what they are doing, and can tell you the formulas for success in your buildup. Join for free and read up on the forums. There is a TON of info in there for the small block Ford. I am pushing about 300-350hp at the flywheel from my 331 (which from the exterior looks identical to the 302) and that is just with a 4bbl carb, aluminum intake and headers.

I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZG and want to upgrade the suspension, shocks etc. Anybody got any advice?

Forced induction is the easy way out but very possible. However, I would not just "slap" forced induction on a high mileage 302. I would start with a tear down if you want to make 350HP and make it last. The cylinders will probably need a light bore, new forged pistons and rings to freshen up the bottom end and prepare it for 350HP. This number can be reached without a rebuild (as many people do) but it will not last long, especially if you add forced induction. If you will be adding boost then you want to choose a cam with appropriate lobe separation and duration.

What is the 'official' mpg of a 2-3yr old mini cooper s?

If you don't plan on running any boost then maybe look into an edelbrock performer RPM cam or something with similar specs. AFR or edelbrock heads (with 2.02" intake valves if valve/piston clearance will allow).

what engine block is dive80158aa for ?

Any way you go, you are going to need headers, high flow cats (if you have to have cats in your state), at least 2 1/4" pipes, and a crossover pipe if you want (H or X). Which tranny is behind this 302? T5? Then you get into how long a stock T5 will last with 350HP on tap......

Add a power adder like a supercharger. If you are building it before install low compression pistons and a good set of rods.
