Question:
Bought a camry from Route 1 Toyota in NJ ,USA and even before i did 300 miles i felt the transmission gears were changing, like speeding up when slowing down or jumping the next step. Also the initial start up noice is high and all these are felt when you drive on local roads and not on highway when your speed is consistent.Took it Toyota dealesrship and they said no problem with the car and i did check with other Toyota and did not find this problem. The toyota dealer wants me to come on a weekday which is not correct as you cannot take a day off to check your new car, there was a call from the Toyota customer service asking about the new car and i conmplained to them also and asked them to give me a reply and nothing as of today.I hope a company which such a good reputation should solve this issue and if anybody can advice me on how to proceed next it will be of great help and top of it the service person whom i spoke to in the Toyota showroom cut my phone abruptly and which is very bad

Does anyone have a Porsche 944 that they use as a daily driver?
The 07 Camry has huge transmission issues, especially what they call 'flaring' which is the rpms going up & the car going nowhere. It's actaully pretty dangerous, because you could be in the middle of an intersection or get rear ended pulling onto a highway. I would have them replace it, and then trade it in.You should have bought an American automobile.

Q: Best Looking Body Kit for a Mk3 (94-98) VW Jetta?
if possible, test drive another camry just like it to have something to compare to. if the test car sounds different, let your dealer that you bought your car from know this. i don't know of any car dealer, American or Foreign that will admit willingly that the new car they sold has a problem. You need to keep on the dealer, definitely check Edmund's web page about the reviews on that camry, this could be useful information when arguing with the dealer.More Questions & Answers ...
