i have a intake coolent leak. is it hard to fix an how do i do it? does that gasket repair liquid actualy work u add to the radiater? will it clogg it up?? also how do i cheak the oil in the supercharger?

where is your coolant leak, driver or pass side?DO NOT add stop leak you eill end up costing yourself probably more than the cars worth!! Not a bad job to fix a coolant leak on a 3.8. There is an inspection plug at the end of the snot of the supercharger towards the driver side where the unit attaches to the upper plenum, check level after a 2-3 hr cool down the level should be at the lower level of the threads. hth

the intake gasket on the supercharged 3.8 is best left to someone who knows what they are doing. as far as the stop leak goes it usually winds up being a problem later on. i don't use the stuff. the super charger oil is checked at the fill level plug.this is an "Allen" screw located on the supercharger
"nose" piece a few inches behind the drive pulley.the oil level should be visible & near the top. (yes it takes a special oil,see your gm dealer)
