Model 2008 - already ?

Why is that manufactures are presenting already car models 2008 - for Christ's sake we are only in April 2007 !! and they have already next year's model ???
What are they doing ?
who are they try to fool ?

its not to early for 2008's considering the 2007's were actually made in late 2005-2006 most of the new models will be out in june to sept, so its about time to entice new buyers... at least they are giving you plenty of warning before you waste you money on this year's stuff... 1 year (reguardless of mileage) depreciates a car considerably, way more than the "discount" they give you to get rid of them.
