I have a '99 ford crown victoria and I am having a strange problem
anyone know if there is a type r or mugen style lips for a 1990 accord??
Everytime it is real humid out or I get water under the hood for any reason the car wont stay on. I will turn tghe key and it will start but the secon you let the key go it will cut off unless you hold down the gas.

I know it is related to moisture because the car works fine after it dries up.

Your ignition is getting wet. That vehicle shouldn't have a distibutor. If it did I would suggest you replace the cap and wires. Your problem is probably either the ignition wires, a cracked coil pack or could even be the ECM if it's exposed.I have a '97 dodge Intrepid and it has started running hot.?

water could be getting into an exposed wire, or your air intake. Just look under your hood for any open wires from the battery, and then check your air filter. Make sure its in there secure and there are no holes. Then make sure the hoses to the air intake after the filter, to the engine, are sealed.Where is the shift lock override on a 1992 Mazda 323?
These cars had problems with the idle control sol.The way you describe the problem it sounds like that. When it starts and doesn't idle, try having someone tap on the sol. with a small hammer and see if it fixes it.
