The pulley has 360 degree markers. I have a timing gun, but practically no experience but once in high school shop class; 25 yrs ago. OK no experience(lol). please help. TYVM

there should be a mark on the cramkshaft pulley. how do you know its out of time? are you sure your carbs arent out of sync? or i would call up any aircooled vw performance shop and ask them where the timing marks and the index that you need to line it up with are at.
