Question:
i live in california and i own a 91 honda civic hatchback. i love that car but i want to change the motor so it can run faster. im a daily driver but would also like to get some speed out of it. currently i have a d16a6 and its ok i guess. but i was viewing other peoples question and they would argue between a b16a and a b18c. i wouldnt mind either. and plus its pretty expensive. so any suggestions? keep in mind that it has to be smog legal. are those motors smog legal anyways?

Ford Fusion owners, do you like your car?
Ok so first of. The B16 will NOT I repeat WILL NOT bolt directly into you car with your stock mounts. For seonds, any B - series will take alot of money. You need the motor, trans, ecu, MOUNTS, linkage, wiring for vtec, ect. What size engine is in the 1995 Saturn sc2?
Now if ou want a little more pep go with a DOHC D-series, which I might add - WILL bolt directly up with your trans and stock mounts. Only if its from japan. Its called a DOHC ZC that is JDM spec'd.
Is the Dodge Ram SRT10 really worth the $50,000?
Its going to take a lot of TIME and MONEY putting another motor in your car especially for the pep that you are wanting.
How many miles does a x5 3 litre sport get petrol ?
the b16a is alot cheaper and it bolt right in your car using stock mounts, but alot of people have not been very happy with the power for the money. if you want your car to have plenty of power and torque then i would spen the extra money and get the b18c1993 Nissan Maxima Transmission Rebuild?
B16a and any one of the b18's are good. but depending on how much you're willing to spend on the engine... just swap a k20a in there. rsx s type engine will give u 200 hp off the bat.. and plus u cant go wrong with a 6 speedHow much will it cost to regear my jeep?
I recommend to install a turbo charger. You can find many kits on ebay costs not more than $770. (keep your boost below 5PSI, no internal parts needed to modify)Go to below web sites to see how the guys turbo charged their Honda.
