are you looking for the outside air temp. sensor or the inside air temp.sensor ?
the inside air temp. tells the hvac control module what the cabin temp. is .... and it's located in the headliner on the left side right above your left ear,, it has a built in fan..and sometimes you hear it buzzing.
As to outside sensor its in the grill area.

The sensor for the ambiant air is located internal to the mass air flow sensor for all motors except the 4.3 v-6 wich is located just infront of the mass air flow sensor between the air filter and the throttle body. The other temp sensor for the outside temp that is used for the drivers information on the inside rear view mirror is located in front of the a/c condenser behind the front grill.
