chrysler makes some of the best vehicles, and also some of the worst. for instance, a chrylser LHS/dodge intrepid with the 3.5 liter engine will last over 200,000 miles easily. but, one with the 2.7 liter engine will surely fail within the first 50,000 miles. I really don't know why people are still buying them...they are way behind ford and GM and now they're also behind toyota too.

OK, so what IS the truth? The fact of the matter here is that people buy what they are familiar with and have had the best of luck with. "Chrysler's Suck". Where are the facts to back up your claim, versus the "suck" factor of vehicles produced by GM and Ford? There is not ONE AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURER in the WORLD that has not produced at least ONE lemon in the company's lifetime (with the possible exception of non-mass-produced vehicles)....yes, even the high dollar European lines. Hence the need for recalls and organizations like the NTSB.
