I'm thinking of buying the Lexus LS430 2003 with 84,000 KM. Should I?

Question:
I would buy the 2007 LS in a heart beat but that price, wow. Is this a good investment for $43,000 +tax, Canadian money?? Or could I do better. I'm concerned about the High Kilometers as I plan to do a lot of driving. The style is a bit Old man looking but I liked it enough to put down a deposit. Need advice, badley.

a 2003 Lexus with only 52,000 miles (84,000km) is not even broke in yet. The average person drives a car 13,000 miles per year. So since this car is 4 yrs old now....it should have 52,000 miles.....exactly what you have.

Lexus vehicles are known to go to 200, 250, 300,000 miles. Buddy of mine just bought a 1998 SC400 with 98,000 miles and he didn't even think twice about it.

Miles on a Lexus is not like miles on any other car on the market. Lexus builds stuff to last....simple example...all stainless steel exhaust....you'll never replace it, for life.

I understand the sticker shock of the new Lexus....I'd like to get the new IS350 but its just a dream. But my old passion, the 98-02' GS400 is in my price range....and the 100,000 miles doesn't bother me either.

What's the better for the hard use ?

I think its to many kilos for a 4 year old auto. Look around, I think you can find better.

Lincoln MKZ?

Lexus LS 430 was the top mark luxury car in Toyota LEXUS series, if compare to other similar class car, like BMW 7-Series, M.Benz S-class, Audi A8, you will find out that the price of LS was more attractive & reasonable & with the high quality.
But if you consider as high miles driving + fuel consumption, than there may difficult to find in this class.
Anyway, this kind of car still more suitable for hire a driver to drive it rather than own driving since it more concerntrade on backseat comfort.
If you planning to driving by yourself, than you may have another choice of class. The LEXUS GS 350, Hoda RL/TL, or Nissan G35, those car also got great point in luxury, comfort and plus one section - sport & driving fun also the fuel consumption as well.
Anyway, try to find a car that really more suitable for your own personal style & be happy for buying a good babe!

Only answer if you own or know someone who owns a 2002 dodge stratus.?

You like the car, you put down the deposit, I think you've made your mind. Thats only 52,000 miles on the car,not a lot at all. Infact thats good, you know the car was a commuter car and didn't see a lot of short trips.
