I have a 98 ford explorer sport and it is making a popping noise from underneath the vehicle. It is worse at slow speeds and when I am turning. I recently replaced both front wheel hub assembly so it is not the bearings. Any suggestions as to what to look at?

"Popping" can be a lot of things and without actually hearing or feeling it, it can be hard to diagnose. The first thing that comes to mind is something binding. Lots of possibilities here though: ball joints, u joints, shocks, the list goes on. Was this popping sound there before you replaced the wheel hubs or did it start after?
