Which is a better truck Ford or Chevy and why?

If it shifts hard .has to do with pressures inside the transmission.I would first remove the trans pan to check for any forein material .If ok install new filter then do a transmission flush that will also replace the fluid in the torque converter .Just changing the fluid in the pan will not proprely change fluid. The torque converter will hold at least 8 quarts of fluid

My 1999 suburban has a whooshing/howling noise from the rear, any suggestions of what it could be?

when was the last time you had the transmission serviced, if ever? its probably due for a fluid and filter change. if you dont look into this problem now or soon damage may occur and then its time for overhaul or replacement.

I am about to buy a sat nav in the sales but wa wondering if a mk4 golf has a uv screen requiring an antenea?

the transmissions in the older taurus models are likely to go at about that mileage - if they are not regularly maintained. the "planetary gear" fails.

My Honda Civic 2007 is advertised as 30 MPG city, 40 MPG highway. I am an excellent driver and get 20-21 MPG.?
