Question:
How do I get my "right driveline" off of my 1992 Toyota Corolla?
Answers:
My friend is selling a 1996 Honda accord for 1500?
I assume you are talking about the 'driveshaft' with the two CV joints..Remove the wheel. In the center of the rotor will be a large nut that holds the axle through the hub. Remove any cap/cotter pin in the way and remove the nut. You will need a LARGE wrench and a LOT of torque to loosen it. Use an air wrench if available. Be careful you don't roll the car off the jack while torquing this nut. Next, take apart the bottom ball joint. Spray it with Liquid Wrench, remove the cotter pin and nut, and use a hammer and proper ball joint fork for this. The hub should now swivel enough to allow the axle to come out the back of the hub. Now just pull the axle out of the transmission. A prybar or large screwdriver helps to pop it out. You may lose some fluid out of the transmission when you do this, so put some rags or a pan under it. Check recommended torque for ball joint and axle nuts when reassembling, and DON'T forget to install any cotter pins or caps back in place.
Good luck!
