Bad Smells in 2006 Toyota Corolla Ascent?

Question:
I have just purchased the above car and everytime I have recycle air on in the car there is a bad mouldy smell that I just cannot seem to get rid of - is this coming from the Cabin Air Filter and if that needs changing can I do it myself? Help help.

if you are using the air conditioner all time try to remember to flick the a/c button off but leave the fan running about 1 minute before you reach your destination. Or sit in the car before you get out for the same period of time with the fan on , this will allow your internal condenser to evaporate and get rid of the moisture. Also try putting your vent on fresh air and not recirculate, this will allow it to dry quicker. I hope this helps.
