Question:
I recently purchased a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. First off, I'm wondering what the general opinion of the reliability of the car is. We are getting this particular one checked out by our mechanic before the deal is completely set (we have already put a down payment, but it is in the contract that if there is anything wrong with the car that we don't want to fix, we get all of our money back and the contract is void). I've done some research on the subject, but couldn't find any big complaints about the car. I realize every car model has flaws, I'm just curious as to what I'm getting myself into.
Any recommendations for rims suitable for white honda civic hybrid? Giving it a sporty look.?
My second question is pretaining to a keyless entry system. I believe, if I am not mistaken, the GS is orginally equipped with a keyless entry system. This car had one owner before me and was bought by the dealer at an auction. I'm wondering if, somewhere along the way, the keyless entry remote was lost. If this is the case, what are my options for replacing it?

I have listed a site where people have listed complaints about their Mitsubishi cars from all years. The one I have listed is for 2003 eclipse. It's unfortunate there is a site called mitsubishisucks.com because any car of any make can have problems not just Mitsubishi.I also listed a site with 4 recalls on the 03 eclipse gs. The dealer can check to see if your car has been serviced and checked for any of these with the Vin number.
Your gs may have came with a key-less entry system. The dealership can check also with the Vin number and if it was originally equipped they can order you one and program it. The key-less entry remote usually costs around $100 from the dealership.
Anyone out there selling a properly rebuilt carburetor for an 85 Jeep CJ-7?
