Does anyone know how tall the 2007 Yukon Denali is? On their website, they say both 75.5 in and 77.7 in. My Garage is 75.8 in, and I am wondering if it will fit, or if I half to move my garage up.

Even if it is the shorter of the two listed (75.5" should be 2WD and the 77.7" should be the 4WD, I am assuming, as 2WD vehicles usually sit lower, or with roof rack and without, before you come to a conclusion, ask the dealer about the height.) It won't fit as if the vehicle has any bounce in the suspention when entering the garage, it will scrape. Its only .3 of an inch differance, thats between 3/8 and 1/4 of an inch ( I just got home from work and I'm not in a converting mood). That will let it fit in ideal conditions, but if any movement in the body it may hit the roof. Even if there was 1 inch space between the roof of the vehicle and the garage thats still not a lot of space.How many horsepower a 89 vw cabriolet have?
EDIT - As a side note, going down a rim size isnt' going to lower the vehicle any, as the tire outside wall will be larger to compansate for the diameter differance. If the tire is larger or smaller diameter then what is standard for the vehicle, then the speedometer will be out a certin percentage. Overall tire diameter will stay the same with smaller or stock rims, depending on how you go, but the outside wall will be what takes the differance. Larger rim, smaller tire wall, smaller rim, larger tire wall. Also, I do believe that the brakes on this vehicle have been designed around the rim and I believe that there is only about 1/4 inch space between the rim inside surface and the caliper.

you should ask if they can lower the suv by putting smaller tires on like if it has 17in rims ask if they will put on 16 or 15 rims on for you or ask if they have a kit to put on it from the factory that will lower it to 6 in ground clearance. or just do what you have said raise you garage up by 6 in. to give you more room and tell them you do not want a roof rack that will add 4 more inch's.

the best way to go is move the whole garage opening up not the walls or rent a cement skimmer and shave off 4 in around the opening and your driveway but thats not worth it your floor might only be 2in thick
