My car radio dies every few months, it jerks sometimes when i am driving it or i am going to stop. IN addition to that they broke my seatand told me that part is not important, i had a leake with the pollin filter and the windows fell in the door because of a bad clip these are just somet of the problems.

I've got a 2004 and its still like new...no problems besides when I left the windows down and it rained and screwed up the window motor thingies. I've heard that they can be crappy, but I keep up with maintenance (oil changes, etc, etc) and haven't experienced any of that. I think they are just more prone to becoming crappy if you don't watch oil changes carefully, cuz mine will start to act funny right around the time it needs to be changed.Hi, no your Jetta is the exception but there are a couple of things you mention that are interesting.

The window clip problem was a recall and should have been fixed free by the dealer or any authorized VW dealer. If a dealer broke a part and told you it was not important, regardless of the dealer they should be reported to VW corp.
It sounds like you have a bad dealer in addition to a car with issues. Did you buy it new? If so, although it is out of warranty, usually electrical issues like the radio are things the dealer will fix very reasonably. Radios in VWs are generally extremely reliable unless something has been modified.
