I want to lift my 97 Ford Explorer for under ($300) is that possible? If so where?
I really do not have an answer. But I can tell you that the syptoms you are describing are normal in the dakota and in the durango. This is due to the type of frame design used. It is not normal in your vehicle. That is direct from dodge. I have a 2006 1500 laramie and a 2006 dakota also. I made a big issue with dodge and had a factory rep there at the dealer due to the vibration in the dakota.I suggest doing the same on your 1500 as this is not normal. The only other possibility it could be is a bad tire. One of them is offsetting the balanace too much. The speed that this happens is common for an unbalanaced tire.
If that doesn't solve it get the area rep involved asap.
How many Ford Pintos are still registered?
roatersI would suggest to set pinion depth in the rear diff. as per Dodge specifications.
how could i improve my engine of car (beetle)?
Do you feel the vibration in the steering wheel, if so it probably in the front end. If you feel it in the seat of your pants, then its probably a drivetrain problem or rear wheel problem.I would personally balance the front tires myself. I had a similar stuation, vibration from 50-60..... it was the front tires out of balance after the so called mechanic said they were good, they were off like 10 on each side....lazy!! After I balanced them it was good.
