Whats difference in all types of lift kits?

what is the difference between a suspenssion lift kit a add on leaf lift kit a body lift kit a block lift kit and all the other lift kits i didnt menton that i dont know about.... i ave a 2000 jeep cherokee sport that is all stock, (i havn't added anything to it)

The primary difference between lift kits is the degree to which they modify the steering geometry. Body lifts cause the least amount of change, since only the body is raised while the suspension is unaffected. A body lift will change the angle at which the steering column shaft intersects the gear box.

A block lift is similar but has greater impact because the ratio of sprung to unsprung weight is modified while raising center of gravity.
