where to buy honda civic engine?

First of all, don't do nothing except chip your ecu, as one of two things will happen:
1. You will buy a chip from a non-reputable company, and it will do nothing
2. It will work amazingly, but significantly decrease the life of your motor.

bmw ticking transmission?

The cheap stuff:
-You could get new headers for around 60 bucks (just get some off ebay because most headers are close enough to being the same that it won't matter what you get- that is, unless you buy 4 into 1 headers from DC Sports or something, but i don't believe they make them for accords)
-buy a catback exhaust for anywhere between $150-$400
-get rid of the crappy stock intake and put a cold air intake in its place, those are around $50 on ebay and then i would just buy a K&N filter for it rather than using the cheap filter that comes with cheap air intakes
-if you have the black lining (that keeps people from door slamming your car) around the outside of your car you could paint it the same color as your car (i have not done this, but i hear that it looks better like that)
-replace the bumper lights with OEM clear ones (literally like $5 on ebay), and since you already have blinkers in your cornerlights, you can turn the bumperlights into fog lights (with some easy modification, i have already done this and it took around $50 for all the parts to do it but thats because the replacement fog light bulbs i bought were 10 bucks each)
-window tint may be an option (i don't know how much it costs to have it "professionally done", but a roll of tint costs like $10 at walmart or autozone or wherever you wanna go, and they have tinting kits that you can buy for around the same price. I would not recommend tinting your own windows if you currently have no idea how to do it, because you will probably mess up and it will look like crap)
-I am personally thinking about getting a front/rear bumper from a 1993 accord, because i think they look better than the 1991's bumpers
-Get a braided steel brake line - should be around $150
-spark plugs and wires abour $75 all together for nice ones, but there are cheaper ones that will work well also
-AEM fuel rail $150
-new brake pads (around $50 for two)
-drilled and slotted rotors about $200
-strut tower bar set, about $150
-adjustable fuel pump $100

The heat in my 99 Mazda Millenia is taking unusually long to warm up & the temp. gauge is going up to "H".

Things that cost a little more:
-New rims/tires (go with powder black or flat black or something like that on the rims, as I and many other people believe that they look the best). It depends on what tires and what rims you get, but you could find some nice ones for around $800
-engine swap (everything you need for a H22a swap should be around $2000-$2500, B series are nice also and cost a little less.
-new camshafts $600
-racing seats (reclinable with sliders) no-name brand should be under $300
-buy a body kit - if you are going to put it on yourself, don't buy a $400 fiberglass kit, because they are a pain in the @** to put on. You'll find it worth it to buy one for around $700-$800, because they don't break or warp during shipping nearly as easily as fiberglass kits do
-if you're not into body kits, buy a front and rear lip kit, and buy 2 sideskirts. that's what I'll be doing to mine. I'm not sure of the price, but it will be cheaper than a body kit.
-coilover suspension anywhere from $300-$700
-fuel injectors $300

how do i get copy of build sheet and window sticker for my 1969 corvette?car was built in st. louis factory.?

you could also upgrade engine internals. maybe put some iron sleeves, upgrades pistons, valves and springs, etc. and then put a turbo with an intercooler on it, or if you want to go straight motor then replace the internals and overbore it.

my mistake it was ford "fusion"- not focus and i dont know if it comes with v8 or not-thanks for all your help

Its an accord! If you want a race car, buy a race car. Oh wait you could put a 4" diameter exhaust pipe on it and make it sound like a lawn mower. Oh and then a huge spoiler, you know to keep that back end down when that Accord is zooming down the highway with blinding speed. Hahahaha.

ABS brake system?

You can mod the electronic controls to increase the kick. It's easy. Open it up, to the far left and at the top, you'll see several gray dots. These dots connect to electronics that place limits on how much power your vehicle can produce. Scrap them off with a knife and you'll remove the limitations from the manufacturer.

im thinkin of financing a 2003 cadillac escalade anyone own one and if so do u have alot of problems with it .

Suck, bang, push, blow. Thats an engines function in a nutshell. If you approach a vehicles output as a system, you can get the best bang for your buck.

Who has a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix, And how does it drive in snow/ice conditions?

Get a cold air induction, high flow air filter, engine management chip, and a high flow exhaust. Make sure everything is in tune. I would replace plugs, caps, rotor, all filers and maybe plug wires if warranted. Those are the realtively low price bolt ons you can do yourself. Start reading the aftermarket import magazines and learn where to go from there.

I have a ford escort the drivers side door lock will not work so i have to get in from the passenger side?

Work with what you got I say. My first car was a 4cyl Pinto, and when I was done with that car, it had almost 200hp. I am not a Honda man myself, but am always happy to help someone interested in cars. Cheap horsepower tricks...hmmm. I would say do a filter and maybe a cold air intake setup. Then maybe a header and hi flow exhaust system. These are, relatively speaking, low-buck, and can net you around 30hp. That may not sound like much, but when you only have 120hp to start with, thats 25% more power. Good luck, have fun, and above all else, be safe.

Will a 460 be an easy swap for a 351m in a 1979 truck.?

try a mod chip and open up the exhaust with headers. for your transmission you could also get a high stall converter.

what is envolved in swiching a 300 six cyclinder to a 302 v8 in a 1996 Ford F-150?

There is a gadget advertised on ebay that allows you to adjust timing for increased power! Simply by fitting a dash control and simple wiring to I"bus

Which company is the best to do business with to purchase sheet metal, floors etc... for a 1970 Mustang?

i would agree with SOME of what "Metal head" posted. However, I would NOT buy cheap headers or use just ANY cold air intake. Doing so can actually make you LOSE horsepower and lead to exhaust leakage.

what do you think about swapping an Infiniti QX56 engine into a nissan 350Z?

If you are purchasing a cold air intake then stick with AEM or Ice-Man, those are the best out there. Ice-Man is made out of plastic and that is a nice advantage. Although, I don't think they have one that fits your specific vehicle. Check their website for specs. Sometimes you can use another vehicle application and it will still fit.

2003 Dodge Neon issues?

Headers I would stay away from unless you are going to purchase a 4-1 preferably from DC sports, if they have one that fits. Do go with a Cat-back exhaust, however make sure that it isn't too large of a diameter at the exhaust tip and make sure BOTH the header and exhaust system are Stainless Steel. They last MUCH longer.

How many people besides me have OnStar in their vehicle?

If gas consumption isn't a concern "Metal head" does have some good tips. ECU, think about a High-Flow Catalytic converter from Random Tech, If you get a AEM fuel Rail, make sure to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and Gauge otherwise there isn't any benefit outside of "show".
