I am going to educate you about toyota pricing and it is much the same for other imports.. all toyotas are priced as though they were made in japan and shipped over by boat.. the reason for this is that intially toyotas were marketed through distributors in each zone of the US.. the southeast zone is owned by a company in jacksonville florida.. they own all the franchise rights for distributing the toyotas in that zone..the same goes for all other zones.. each toyota is shipped to those distributers without the price tags.. the distributor puts his price on them and then they are shipped to the franchise dealers.. the modles that actually are built in japan are handled that way.. now if a camry is made in japan and shipped to Jacksonville it cost x amount of dollars.. if a camry is built in detroit and shipped to jacksonville via truck.. it cost less.. but if they sold it for less, then they would be shooting themselves in the foot..and it would also violate the distributor agreement.. therefore all of them are priced as though they were made in japan and shipped here.. when you buy one you are paying the mfg, the distributor and the dealer.. the amount to the distributor is about 2 to 3 thousand per unit, depending on the modle.. oh and here is another little tidbit.. some times the factory will offer incentives that are supposed to go to the buyer, but it is left of to the dealer as to who gets the money.. they may offer 3 thousand on camrys but the dealer is not compelled to pass it on.. some times they give the buyer maybe a grand and the salesman gets a spiff for selling the unit, but the dealer keeps the rest.. next time you are thinking of buying a toyota.. do some digging and find out what the real bonus money is and then demand a big chuck of it and see what you get..frankly toyotas are great cars and in fact I own one, a matrix 2003 model.. but I will not buy another one because if you look it up on line at JD powers site..you will see that the ford fusion is a better car and a better value and is better made than the number one seller, the camry.. check out the domestics such as ford and see for yourself.. or buick or dodge.. they don't withhold the money and rip you off like toyota does.. good luck

I would seem so and you'd think they'd give you a break for buying 2.

Buy American. If you lived in Detroit like I do you would be killed and eaten.

What is the name of the woman in the suzuki xl7 commercial who is riding the motorcycle?

We bought two of them--six months apart. They did give us a very good deal on the second. I paid 17 cents more for the 04 than the 03 and it had more special features. As far as buying it near the plant that makes them--if you go out of state you will end up paying sales tax twice.

Is it a fuse or light bulb?

No,Unless you are an employee you pay the same price(MSRP). Frieght charges would be the same too. Whether you live in Spokane or Miami.
