I just checked the Hollander Interchange manual to be sure, but the 2.0 and 2.6 Mazda engines use a different hog's head (clutch bellhousing) from one to the other. And as far as carburetors are concerned a no there too. The problem you have with the Japanese engines is that the manufacturers do not build as much interchangability in their vehicles as the American manufacturers do. As a former garage and salvage yard owner, and driver of Toyota pickups for years, I found it absolutely ridiculous some of the things you had to know to get the right parts. It gets down to even having to know the month the vehicle is produced in some cases for some parts. So if you have a B2000 and want to put the 2.6 litre engine in it, you will basically need the entire engine with ALL accessories, as well as the transmission. If you have the donor truck that is the best way to go. Then you would have all the "little" parts to make the swap complete. BTW, the way Mazda named their trucks actually told the engine size (in cc). For example, the B2000 was a 2000 cc or 2.0 litre, the B2200 was a 2200 cc or 2.2 liter so knowing this tells you that the B2600 is a 2600 cc or 2.6 litre engine. Kinda neat when you think about it in this way.
