9-3 steering wheel controls?

Question:
My wife just bought a 9-3 sports sedan. I was driving her car the other day and asked her about two steering wheel controls. They are both on the inside bottom of their clusters. One shows a picture of a phone, and one looks like a man's head who is talking. She had no idea what they were for. I searched through the owners manual, which listed off the other steering wheel controls except those two. Does anyone know what they do, etc?

Coolant leak?

Unless you have OnStar, nothing will happen with the phone button. It seems to be functional only on European models. I would suggest searching the Saabnet bulletin board for the 9-3 for more detailed information.
