How to clear codes and info on 2006 pontiac gto?

i need to clear the computer of information (i.e.=wide open throttle, engine redlined etc... any help will be GREATLY appreciated

It is not 1980 anymore & you can't just unhook the battery cable & clear a code. It will have to be cleared through a scanner. Sorry!

Well, it sounds like either you're as teen or need to clear the info so the dealer won't cancel the warranty. Is the info on the dash or in the computer, if it's in the computer try disconnecting the ground cable on the battery for about two whole minutes to remove history codes, if it's a hard code, indicating something is wrong with the engine you will have to get someone with a computer scanner to remove the codes, only after the problem is repaired.
