Check this Damage out , How much would it cost me ?

sleepers do not have a V8 engine in them. you can do it, but you will spend more time and money than it is worth. I have some friends will older porches, 1987 944 came with 4cyl, and they put lingenfelter vette engines in them. the first one cost them about 14 grand, not including the engine and transmission, and they did almost all the work other than balance the drive shaft and things like that. the second car cost even more. consider this. a properly built 1.6,1.7, or 1.8 honda engine can easily keep up with any car you might pull up next to. you spend the money to put a LS1 in a civic, it will be obvious serious mods have been done, the sound will give it away if nothing else, you waste alot of money and time, and people will think you are crazy. you will have to weld railroad iron to frame to add weight and keep the tires from constantly spinning. you can not get it insured. you have to cut the frame, push the firewall back at least 15 inches. cut inner fender wells, create an entirely new steering system, new wiring, computer, fuses, cut out the floor of your car and weld curved upset in to make room for drive shaft. and i dont think there is even enough room to put the necessary radiator under the hood.the oil pan will not clear so you have to pick the car up, new hood raised about 4 inches will be needed. new suspension, new dash, the list goes on and on. most of what you will need can not be bought and you will have to make it, so you need a welding machine. look under the hood of a vette then under your hood. the porsche was already rear wheel drive. if i had to guess, i say 4 years to build and 25 grand, conservative, more likely upwards of $50,000. if you are willing to do this, you can make it work. i hope you are good with trig and calculus because there will be alot of it. put 3 or 4 grand in your civic and you will have a great sleeper.

NISSAN TECH NEEDED!!!! PLEASE JOHN PAUl!!?

whatever you decide to do, good luck

Does anyone know of a company who does ecm repair?

If the LS1 is made by the Civic then you probably can. The engines in the civics are all similar. If there is any modification that needs doing. You might want to take it to a Honda dealer

Your talking about the GM 350 LS1?Yes you can make it fit as long as you work at Monster Garage! Way to much stuff to charge and do . If you have to ask if it can be done you can't do it yourself.

Does anyone know what the current price of Lexus rx300 is?

It would require alot of work and changing it to rear wheel drive.
This would end up just like the Ford Focus people that put a 350 V8 in one of those. It costs a fortune and you would have to extend the car's length by like 3 feet.
