What is faster a 5 speed lancer evolution or a 6 speed lancer evolution?

Has anybody converted their Lincoln Navigator to LPG? If so was it easy and a good convertion?

I'd be happy to tell you. If you don't know, I actually own a 6-speed Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII and sure as hell is fast. It doesn't seem that different to me when I am driving but as soon as I get passed the 3rd or 4th gear that baby picks up mad speed, enough to leave a car in the dust. My Evolution is the fastest model and that's what all the car dealers said when I asked them. If you want to buy one, it's worth it, I am tell you.

usualy a 6 speed will have a higher top speed, but a 5 speed will have better excelleration, so it depends on what your looking for

Assuming all other factors (power etc) are the same, both will have the same top speed. Whether one accelerates faster depends on the gearing - more gears give a closer ratio, which is better for a tuned engine with a narrow powerband, but of course you may need to allow time for an extra shift (ie getting into 3rd where the five-speed can stay in 2nd).

The 5 speed would have better acceleration and get up to speed faster; but the 6 speed would get a higher top speed.(by like 2 MPH)(thats all) lol. So I would go w/ the 6 speed but that is just me.
