Question:
Day 1 they chaged the sensors. Under warranty. Engine light came back on that nite. Day 2 they changed more sensors - under warranty. Light came back on that nite. Now they changed spark plugs and more sensors and think it may be bad gas. Will this be under warranty? It is a Chrysler 3 year bumper to bumper warranty and it is a 2 year old car and 33,000 km (warranty good till 60,000 km) Please advise. Have to pick my car up today.

they are just trying to snow ball ya. you know a dealership makes most of their money on parts and labor. beings they are working on a warranty car. they are making no money as DC tells them how much they pay for warranty work. will tell you one thing I bet after your cars warranty is expired. they will find whats wrong. How do you put a pod filter on a pintara?
reminds me of going to the dealership for something. overheard the service manager talking to a TECH. the tech said a wiring harness was bad and needed a new one. the manager asked is this under warranty. the tech said yeah it is. the manager said I know how to make it work and not need a new one. now if that jeep wasnt under warrranty I bet he would be on the phone calling the owner and telling them they needed a new one and would cost over $500.
all car dealerships works the same. they rip you off no matter if its dodge ford chevy toyo and so on. dealerships are privately owned and all they are worried about is making a profit.
Any experience with ford focus engine stalling/jerking?
I own a shop, and what I would do is this; I would tell them there is nothing wrong with the gas. Make them find the problem and repair it. Tell them you own another vehicle that you put gas in at the same time, and it has no problems. I know this may not be the truth, but they aren't telling you the truth either. The truth is; All gas has a certain amount of water in it, and you very seldom ever find bad gas any more due to the high turn over of fuel at the pumps. I would say 99% for sure there is in fact something wrong with the dodge, and they either don't know what to do, or don't want to replace the expensive part it may need. Stick to your guns, and don't let them take advantage of you.Glad to help you out, Good Luck!
Subaru Outback:How do i disable the seat belt alarm on my 2007 model, please?
I agree with the first guy unless you put gas in that had been sitting in a jerry jug, tell them it is not the gas. Between my family, my ex, and I; dodge has been having horrible problems in there vehicles and they are just trying to get rid of the customers anyway they can. I've been going in for to years (3 different dealerships) telling them that my car wont start sometimes (brand new derango) and they kept saying there was nothing wrong with it until one day I was at the dealership for something else and it wouldn't start.. they couldn't say there was nothing wrong then!! My suggestion is to get rid of your dodge I'm going to!!More Questions & Answers ...
